Hopefully it is a sign that you are on your way, but I have been in nesting mode lately. The house is dusted and vacuumed, and I have been playing around with baking and knitting. Currently knitting you a little pink hat (we will see how it looks when it is done.) My baking project of the week was carrot cake cookies, Too easy and too good not to share the recipe, I started with a boxed carrot cake mix added 1c grated carrot, 1/2c oatmeal (soaked in 2 Tbs of pinapple juice) 1Tbs cinnamon, 1Tbs ginger, a stick of butter and 2 eggs. Bake at 350 for like 9 mins so that they were still chewy. I frosted them with Mom's cream cheese frosting recipe and then dusted them with more cinnamon. Orginally I had planned to give a bunch of them away but they are so good they keep disapearing and now it would be silly to give away the few that are left.
Any minute! Any minute! We're looking forward to meeting Jackie Rae; she just may be the most loved baby ever! Those cookies sure look good--anything with cream cheese frosting gets my vote! Take care little mom--the time is drawing nigh!
