Post Family Farm

Today Paul, Cheryl, Austin, Ava, Kate, Jackie and I all headed to post family farm for the day.  We spent the morning seeing the animals, racing on pedal bikes and going for a hey ride to find pumpkins, it was a lot of fun.
So this post is a total overload f pictures but I am posting over 120 to shutterfly so if you want to see more they are there. We went a little picture crazy because Abby is out of town and so I wanted to be able to get shots for her of all the kiddos.

This one is Jackie being really brave and riding in the tractor train all by herself.

The day ended with Cider and Doughnut and really what is better then a warm fall day, a doughnut and a little time spent with the family.

Craft of the day

So someone pinned a felt christmas tree for the kiddos to play with and what can I say but Halloween Pumpkins came to mind so today we gave it a whirl.
We cut out a few felt pumpkins and some face and stem shapes and while I was trying to figure out where we might hang them Jackie discovered they would stick to the couch.  It was more then an hour of fun and the best part is we can play again another day.

Fun with Rayle

With Aaron, Chelsea and Raylee in town for the last several weeks we have been trying to soak up some good family time.  Here are the girls dressed alike and playing at the beach. And then at the zoo enjoying the lions.  I think that the girls may be headed to Binder Park Zoo on Wednesday to bad I have to work and will not be able to go along.

Yesterday was Raylee's 1st Birthday.  All the kiddos had fun with the Ballons and helping to open the presents. But in my opinion the hit of the party was Chelsea's Adorable Owl Cupcakes.  Jackie was not quite understanding why Raylee go to eat her cupcake first.

To top off all the fun today we had family pictures taken.  I can not wait to see them.

One last photo just because the dress is too cute not to include it.

Monkey PJ's

I will have to keep posting lots of PJ pictures in the next month because we have new Halloween PJ's from Aunt Kelly, and Elmo PJ's from Aunt Kate and Ballerina Monkey's from Grandma.  What can I say but Grandma wins and gets her pictures first.  (This first picture she is being a little shy but I loved her hugging her monkey in the monkey jammies.)
Jackie and her monkey double checking the to do list before we went to bed.
And then just because this picture is so darn cute it had to get included.  Jackie in front of the big ruler Adam made, showing just how big she really is.

17 month photos

You are becoming such a big girl lately sleeping in a big bed, a wonderful little helper and yet you still very much love your paci. I normally don't take photos of you with it in because the photos without are so much cuter but since it is a part of who you are I thought I would include just one paci pic.

I should have been shooting video because you were singing "Elmos' Song" and dancing while I took pictures.

All tuckered out from the singing and dancing, back with a paci and chilling with Buba the moose.

A Gift from Aaron

So a while ago I pined Mason Jar Lights on pinterest, The house we bought had ugly brass lights that just don't fit our style.  Adam like the idea but just was not sure when he would have time to work on this project with me. So I watch the tutorial on pinterest and attempted to figure it out, very quickly I decided this was a job that needed power tools and expertise that I did not have.  So I figured I would have to wait for Adam.  But Aaron decided that the project looked like fun and so when we got home from the zoo today he and Adam were finishing up my beautiful new lights. Thanks Aaron they really make the living and dining room feel like home.

So pretty to see them on at night it reminds me of fireflys.

This smaller one is in the front entry way and the big one is over the dining room table.  I could not be more impressed.
THANKS AARON.

Back to Normal...?

After moving out we had almost 2 weeks of living at Oma and Opa's house.  Jackie did great not sleeping in her bed and all in all it could not have gone better.  We were gone just in time for Aaron, Chelsea and Raylee to move in, and we got the benefit of having Uncle Aaron around to help us move!

We are now beginning to settle into the new house and unbox life.  Jackie is finding her toys and we are slowly making it home.  I would write more but I am going to take advantage of her sleeping and try to unpack a box or three.

Uncle Aaron and Adam are hard at work on a fun project right now and I will try to post some pictures of that tonight.
